About This Exam:
The LPIC program is designed to certify the competency of system administration using the Linux operating system and its associated tools. It is distribution neutral, which means that it does not favor a particular distribution of Linux and tests candidates on standard conventions. Exam 101 is the first of 2 exams required to achieve the LPI Junior Level Administration (LPIC1) certification. LPI certifications may be refreshed with new materials from time to time, but they do not retire so you are not required to recertify.
